Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Lead, Water Management is responsible for leading the development of a project water management strategy to support mine development projects and meet the necessary social, environment and regulatory requirements associated with water management for future mining expansions. Salary range: 108,000 - 133, 000 CAD / year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Requirements
- Engineering or Science Degree in a related field
- Minimum five years relevant professional experience with a focus on water quality assessment or water quality monitoring.
- Experience in project management and delivery is an asset
- Experience in development and implementation of holistic water management programs and risk evaluation of water quality/quantity and aquatic life is an asset
- Experience supervising or leading a team is an asset
- Technical knowledge of federal and provincial mining water practices and regulatory compliance is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
