Project Lead, Water Management

About the role

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Lead, Water Management is responsible for leading the development of a project water management strategy to support mine development projects and meet the necessary social, environment and regulatory requirements associated with water management for future mining expansions. To be successful, we are looking for someone who has strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. This person can balance different perspectives, influence contributors, and make recommendations for the strategic direction of the project. Salary range: 108,000 - 133, 000 CAD / year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Requirements

• Engineering or Science Degree in a related field
• Minimum five years relevant professional experience with a focus on water quality assessment or water quality monitoring.
• Experience in project management and delivery is an asset
• Experience in development and implementation of holistic water management programs and risk evaluation of water quality/quantity and aquatic life is an asset
• Experience supervising or leading a team is an asset
• Technical knowledge of federal and provincial mining water practices and regulatory compliance is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
