Die Setter I

Responsibilities

• Eaton's Vehicle Group, Power Connections business is currently seeking a Die Setter to join our team.

• Position Overview:
• Die Setters will be responsible for setting up progressive dies ranging from 30Ton to 400Ton into straight side stamping press. Perform necessary die adjustments and quality checks during production.
• In this role you will:
• Set up and operate punch press ranging from 30Ton to 400Ton and all auxiliary equipment
• Have an understanding of die sensors, PLEX and Smartpac technology
• Work close with Quality department and toolroom
• Must be able to understand basic blueprints
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified
• Perform 5s
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of die setter/progressive die set up experience
• Certification or degree from an accredited institution in progressive die set up
• 5 years of die setter/progressive die experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Position Criteria:
• Self-motivated with good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Team oriented
