About the role
This Position serves as a Quality-Training Specialist within the Program Oversight & Accountability Division on the Approvals Management and Oversight Team and is responsible for performing quality assurance duties and the training of employees performing approvals and compliance actions. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 07/10/2026 Time-In-Grade Requirement (GS-12): Applicants, who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks, must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. A SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. NOTE: To support your claim that you have the required time-in-grade, you must submit your most recent promotion, within-grade increase, or appointment SF-50. If you previously held a higher grade, you must also submit any SF-50 showing that grade. GENERAL ADJUSTMENT and AWARD SF-50's CANNOT be used for time-in-grade verification. Specialized Experience (GS-12): To qualify at the GS-12 grade, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 or higher. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
