This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, and revenue management teams to build scalable sales infrastructure, strengthen regional leadership, and support long-term portfolio growth. Essential Functions and Duties: - Drive execution of direct sales strategies across assigned portfolios to maximize revenue performance and market share. - Establish performance frameworks, accountability standards, and operating cadence for regional sales teams. - Monitor portfolio performance metrics and lead proactive action planning to address gaps and capture opportunities. - Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, reinforce accountability, and drive execution discipline. - Partner with Revenue Management to align on segmentation strategies, pricing approaches, and revenue targets. - Collaborate with Operations leadership to ensure alignment of sales priorities and consistent execution at the property level. - Build and develop high-performing regional sales leadership teams through coaching, mentorship, and performance management. - Develop scalable sales processes, tools, and best practices to support portfolio growth and organizational consistency. - Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and business data to inform strategic direction and decision-making. - Strengthen relationships with ownership groups and key stakeholders to support portfolio performance objectives. - Lead and support initiatives related to acquisitions, transitions, and new hotel openings across assigned markets. - Drive implementation and adoption of company initiatives, programs, and organizational priorities. Required Experience, Education, and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive hospitality sales leadership experience, including multi-property or portfolio oversight. - Proven experience leading regional or portfolio-level sales organizations and developing senior sales leaders. - Strong understanding of hotel sales disciplines, including direct sales strategy, account management, and market positioning. - Advanced financial acumen with ability to analyze performance metrics, forecasting, and revenue trends to drive business decisions. - Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence executive stakeholders, including ownership groups and cross-functional leaders. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. - Experience driving organizational change, implementing initiatives, and building scalable processes across multiple markets. Work Environment: - Primarily operates in a remote work environment with frequent travel across assigned hotel portfolios and corporate locations. - Requires regular on-site visits to hotels to support performance alignment, leadership engagement, and business reviews. - Travel expectations may reach up to 50% based on portfolio needs, acquisitions, transitions, and strategic initiatives. - Works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness to changing business priorities. - Regular interaction with executive leadership, ownership groups, and cross-functional teams in both virtual and in-person settings.
