AHC Outpatient Wellness Clinic seeks to hire an experienced Senior Behavioral Health Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Senior Behavioral Health Therapist you will: - Provides evidence-based outpatient behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults through in-person and telehealth modalities, consistent with clinical need and therapist scope of practice. - Maintains an active outpatient caseload within a short-term care model, providing symptom stabilization, skill development, and treatment engagement while collaborating with interdisciplinary providers to support patient progress and continuity of care. - Completes timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation (including psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, risk assessments, care coordination, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory, payer, and organizational standards. - Participates in weekly group supervision, interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultation, and quality improvement initiatives to support clinical excellence, patient access, and operational efficiency. - Collaborates with psychiatrists, medical providers, care teams, and community supports to coordinate care, address barriers to treatment, and support patients transitioning between levels of care, including inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. - Designs and facilitates at least two community support groups annually, exercising creativity and clinical autonomy to develop programming that meets patient, clinic, and community needs. - Provides mentorship, task support, and professional guidance to graduate-level interns, including observation, shadowing, case discussion, and skill-building opportunities, as assigned Qualifications Include: - Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent Master's Degree in a recognized health field - Minimum of 1 year of outpatient behavioral health experience required. - Experience providing psychotherapy in an interdisciplinary outpatient setting preferred. - Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred but not required and will be based on therapist scope of practice, training, comfort, and clinic need. - Experience providing task supervision, mentorship, field instruction, observation, shadowing, or clinical support to graduate-level interns preferred. - Formal supervisory experience not required. - Active Maryland behavioral health licensure required (LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT). - Independent clinical licensure (LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT) preferred. - Clinical supervision toward independent licensure available, as applicable. - Experience with tele-mental health services strongly preferred. - Experience working with adolescents and/or children preferred, but not required based on therapist scope of practice and clinic need. Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Thursday, 8:00am-3:00pm Friday Shift Type: Day Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar Pay Range: $66,913.60 - $100,360.00 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
