About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and organized Sr. Technical Producer to serve as the vital link between product requests and engineering execution. In this role, you will ensure projects are properly scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time, all while maintaining a balanced, sustainable workload for our development team. As an operational anchor and people leader, you will integrate deeply with the team to drive key objectives, optimize capacity, and clear technical roadblocks. Technical Project Management & Delivery Roadmap & Priority Tracking: Build and manage systems to track deadlines, manage ad-hoc requests, and independently allocate daily task assignments. Scoping & Sprint Planning: Partner with the Director and team leads to scope new requests, establish clear acceptance criteria, and run daily standups and sprint planning. Unblocking & Delivery: Actively identify and clear technical blockers, dynamically adjusting timelines and keeping stakeholders informed to keep engineers focused. Cross-Domain Coordination: Track diverse projects across database infrastructure, player tracking, payment systems, internal tools, and GDPR maintenance. People Leadership Coaching & 1:1s: Drive a regular rhythm of 1:1s focused on aligning career goals, clearing professional roadblocks, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Mentorship: Actively mentor team members on data engineering best practices Onboarding & Growth: Champion the onboarding experience for new data team members to guarantee they are set up for long-term success. Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Optimization Partnership collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Support) and external platforms (Tencent, Sony, Steam) Continuous Improvement: Lead post-mortems when milestones are missed to identify process or scoping inefficiencies, implementing data-driven solutions to mitigate future risk. Documentation: Centralize technical knowledge by ensuring system architecture and process documentation remain up to date and accessible.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in technical project management, production, or technical operations, ideally within gaming, data infrastructure, or live-service tech.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of modern software architecture, including API integrations, database logic, and the relationship between frontend and backend systems.
  • Tooling: Experience using organizational tools like Jira, Basecamp, and Confluence to build workflows and dashboards that provide clear visibility into team progress and capacity.
  • Strategic Inquiry: An ability to talk to developers and ask the questions that uncover risks or hidden work before it's too late.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to use data to identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest structural improvements rather than simply moving tasks through a queue.
  • Independent Judgement: A track record of managing project workflows independently, with the professional maturity to know when to ask for guidance on high-stakes decisions.
  • Communication: Ability to update stakeholders on progress and coordinate with QA and Support to ensure a high-quality end product.
