Responsibilities
- Partner with key business leaders to understand and translate business strategy into prioritized commercial operations initiatives and solutions
- Partner with the Commercial Operations teams to define and lead a portfolio of field enablement projects, ensuring clear and aligned prioritization, communication, quality, and timeliness of training and delivery

- Required Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, sales support, or commercial operations roles, with familiarity across CRM systems, and technologies that support field-facing activities
- Extensive experience in program/project management, demand management, resource management, and prioritization
- Proven expertise in commercial launch readiness, including planning across Customer Data Management, Field Operations and Training, Reporting & Analytics
- Ability to translate broad business strategies and functional priorities into effective operational goals and objectives
- Demonstrated success in on-time delivery of large, cross-functional, and complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, including the development of business cases and value propositions
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Pay Range:
- $164,000 - $246,000

Job Description Vertex is seeking an experienced leader to join the US Commercial Operations team. This role will partner closely with business and field leadership to enhance field effectiveness by ensuring appropriate resourcing, clear communication, and strong support across field-facing initiatives. Serving as a critical link between strategy and execution, the Associate Director will collaborate across Commercial Operations teams and other cross-functional and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, drive business performance, and improve the overall field experience.
