About the role

DLA Piper is seeking an Of Counsel to join our Litigation group, Business and Commercial subgroup. This position is open to our Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, DC, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Short Hills, and Wilmington offices. Bar Admission Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying

Responsibilities

• Communicates with clients.
• Supervises associates.
• Disputes:
• Collaborates with experts.
• Assists with fact development and depositions.
• Reviews and drafts discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Develops case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in M&A post-closing indemnity disputes and/or representations and warranty insurance disputes
• Experience with M&A transaction documentation and damages calculations
