WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR GS-07 Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Coordinating administrative operations, managing inquiries, and partnering with internal offices to support program activities and organizational policies; Preparing executive correspondence, reports, and documents with accuracy, compliance, and timely completion; and Managing executive calendars, meetings, travel, and briefing materials while using tracking systems and office tools to monitor projects. GS-08 Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Providing administrative and operational support to leadership through program coordination, stakeholder communication, and interoffice collaboration; Managing correspondence management activities, including preparing official communications, tracking assignments, and ensuring compliance with organizational procedures and deadlines; and Planning and coordinating meetings, events, and travel while using databases and reporting systems to track program data. In addition to meeting the specialized experience above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirement listed below: QUALIFIED TYPIST (All Grades): This position requires a qualified typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through national Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
