About the role

[What the role is] The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department is responsible for engaging, seeking, and exploring new opportunities with stakeholders from the public, private and people sectors. As an Assistant/Manager of the Strategic Partnerships (International Relations) team, you will advocate, build, maintain and track strategic relationships with different stakeholders within and beyond the arts and culture sector, as well as forge new relationships and drive new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to co-create impact to benefit the arts sector, specifically with international arts organisations, governments, and cultural institutions. The incumbent will be part of the team of International Relations specialists to achieve the Council's international objectives to coordinate, communicate, and work closely with key government agencies, ministries, statutory boards, foreign embassies, agencies, as well as internal departments and functional units within NAC. [What you will be working on] Development and implementation of strategies to enhance the international profile of Singapore arts and culture Support the team lead in developing and implementing strategies to grow the international profile and reach of Singapore arts and culture across priority markets and platforms Track and monitor international arts trends and development to inform strategy and identify opportunities Cultivation and maintenance of relationships with international partners Support the cultivation and maintenance of relationships with international partners to facilitate collaborations, exchanges and joint initiatives Collaborate with key government agencies, ministries, and statutory boards to align international engagement efforts with national priorities and initiatives Assist in the coordination and execution of international engagement activities, including organising memorandum of understanding agreement events, courtesy calls, and other events and programs Effective administration and operational support for the team Collate data for administrative and cultural briefs, managing NAC travel calendar, coordinating request-for-information items, processing internal payment requests, tracking and administering international commissions and partnerships Support the administration of a grant, including processing of applications, monitoring and project closure [What we are looking for] Analytical and global thinking skills, innovation, strategic thinking Good project management skills Able to work independently as well as collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to drive projects Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders Experience in managing international partnerships / agreements and projects within the arts and culture sector would be advantageous Functional Competencies Required: International Engagement International Protocol Application Stakeholder Engagement Strategic Networks and Global Partnerships Sector/Industry Programme Development and Management
