Senior Telecom Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT is required
• 5-8 years of related experiences preferably in a relevant industry such as oil &gas, marine, shipyard, petrochemical, power plant is a MUST
• Able to lead a team of telecom engineer/junior telecomengineer to meet various project schedule, customer expectation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken English).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Design of telecommunication system (RadioCommunication System, Security System, Navigation Aids, Wired Communication) - Preparation of drawings - Preparation of specifications for procurement of equipment - Develop detailed system design with diagrams and schematics. - Selection of telecom equipment - Develop bulk material listings - Provide input for preparation of selected reports, weight, equipment list,function and fabrication / installation - Coordination with other disciplines - Professional responsibility - Participate in all engineering phases - Understand and interpret requirements from customers and authorities. - Clarify design certification with customers and 3rd party. - Participation in customer visits and -contact - Participation in technical project meetings Systems knowledge will be an added advantage: 1. Navigation Aids: Radar, ECDIS, Auto Pilot,AIS, DGPS, LRIT, Compass, Echo Sounder, Speed Log, VDR, Navigation &Obstruction Lights, RACON, Fog Horn, BNWAS, VSAT, Entertainment System, EMS 4. Wired Communication: PAGA, Page Party, Talk Back, Smart Series,Driller, PABX (Analog), Sound-Powered Phone System
