RCM Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Support RCM Account Managers with client inquiries and identify areas of improvement.
• Oversee and provide coaching to a multi-disciplinary team of offshore team members.
• C omplete complex denials follow-up and appeals and support AR management and payment posting functions .
• Identify , investigate, and resolve unpaid claims.
• Research and resolve payment and adjustment discrepancies.
• Submit claims' reconsiderations and appeals.
• Research payer policies .
• Resolve patient queries and verify insurance coverage.
• Present reports to Account Managers informing them of offshore KPIs and A/R health status.
• Other tasks as needed.
• What it Takes to Join the Family
• Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or similar position preferred.
• Offshore management and collaboration experience required.
• Understanding of referrals and pre-authorizations, eligibility and benefits verification, and insurance billing
• Manage critical deadlines and keen attention to detail .
• Task oriented personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented atmosphere.
• Work successfully both on a team and independently.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to escalate concerns to the appropriate person and/or department.
• Communicate and collaborate with Accounts Receivable Specialists, insurance companies, patients, and leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.

• This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our RCM Account Manager.
• Salary Range
• $50,000 - $52,000 USD
