Part-time Professors - Family Legal Services Provider Certificate Program

Requirements

• Post-secondary 4-year in University Law Program
• Master's degree in a related field of study and/or Bachelor of Education/Master of Education is an asset
• Minimum 5 years of recent family law practice experience as a lawyer within the Province of Ontario is required
• L1 License in good standing with Law Society of Ontario is required (must provide LSO number)
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the challenges of diverse student groups is an asset
• Teaching Experience in a post secondary institution is an asset
• Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
• Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
• Excellent communicator
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
• Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
• Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
