22kv Switch Gear Installation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Install 22kV switchgear panels by positioning, aligning, and fixing components according to project drawings
• Perform cable termination, busbar connections, earthing, and inter-panel wiring following approved schematics
• Inspect panel assembly for mechanical integrity and verify electrical connections for accuracy
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks including insulation resistance, continuity, and torque verification to ensure system readiness
• Assist engineers and client representatives during testing and commissioning activities to support project completion
• Identify and correct installation defects or non-conformities to maintain quality standards
• Follow site safety rules, lock-out/tag-out, and permit-to-work procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare installation checklists, test records, and as-built documentation to maintain accurate project records
• Coordinate with site team members, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules efficiently
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and protect installed equipment from damage during installation and commissioning
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• ITE/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in MV (Medium Voltage) switchgear installation works
• Ability to read and understand single line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
• Familiarity with electrical safety practices and site procedures
• Willingness to work on site and support project timelines
