Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wafer fabrication tools using established procedures and on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities in tool logbooks and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) .
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to identify root causes and ensure long-term reliability.
  • Support Tool Owners and Equipment Engineers in improving tool performance and uptime.

  • Required:

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts).
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with semiconductor wafer fab equipment (Photo, Thin Films, Plating, Etch, CMP). (Bonus)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings . (Bonus)
  • Knowledge of control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) . (Bonus)
  • Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause determination , and repair documentation.
  • Experience using DVMs (Digital Voltmeters) and standard mechanical hand tools.
