Responsibilities

  • Required location: Waltham, MA (hub-based, onsite 3-4 days per week)

  • Represent Scientific Communications in internal governance discussions and support preparation for scientific congresses and external engagements
  • Required Qualifications:
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience in Scientific Communications within Medical Affairs or a medical communications agency
  • Demonstrated ability to guide publication strategy, oversee major clinical publications, and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder review processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback from diverse stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities; able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to scientific meetings as needed (up to ~10%)

Requirements

  • Experience in the obesity therapeutic area or adjacent metabolic/endocrine fields is preferred, but not required
  • CMPP certification is not required, but is a plus
  • Education:
  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred) in the life/health sciences
  • Salary Range
  • $196,000 - $240,000 USD
