Responsibilities
- Scheduling all hospital and some in-office surgeries
- Communicating with hospitals to perform all necessary pre-operative requirements
- Contacting patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary pre-operative and post-operative requirements
- Administering surgical prep packets to patients which contains all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery
- Precertifying all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co pays.

- Tuesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Description: ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) and Hümi, one of the nation's largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Coordinator for our Upper East Side office. Hourly: $25/hr The Surgical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all surgeries for the physicians in the office. This position reports directly to the Practice Site Administrator.
