About the role

You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST (FLEET GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION & SERVICES) in the Director, Maritime Information Warfare (DMIW), Geospatial Information Charting Division of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing policy and coordinating complex geospatial requirements for operational plans with higher-level organizations; providing subject matter expertise and authoritative scientific guidance to senior leadership regarding Geospatial Information and Services (GIS); applying professional mastery of GIS software for complex maritime analysis, and managing interagency coordination for GIS products.
