REQ14729 Assistant, Cashiering Compliance & POS Management (Open) POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant is responsible for : Assisting the superior in inputting and maintaining the menus in the Micros Point of Sale System for all outlets. Assisting the superior setting up Micros cards for all users and updating access as required. Assist the superior in updating the cashiering manual in both English and Chinese. Assist the superior in POS cashier training & monitoring Assist the superior to establish & monitor of POS cashier procedures for daily balancing, banking & reporting. Carry out cashier audit PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Superior in Training for all outlets' cashiers on POS, cash handling, balancing, banking and daily reporting procedures Set up menus on POS and ensure pricing is accurate Monitor cashier POS activity and highlight suspicious trends to management Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the data stored in Micros Issue new Micros cards or update access levels as required Provide operational support to the outlets on Micros system Maintain & ensure the operation procedure are accomplished by outlets Support the F&B Administration and Financial Accounting Teams with the timely and accurate provision of reports on both a regular and ad hoc basis KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Perform all aspects of this position in a manner that represents the best interests and integrity of the business both externally and internally Ensure compliance with the company's financial guidelines, policies and procedures Ensure all applicable financial government guidelines and legislation is adhered to Ability to communicate to all levels of management Service standards are consistent with departmental expectations Adherence to all relevant policies and procedures Constructive relationships are built with team members and business managers. Accuracy of POS data Competency of F&B cashiers in using the POS system Quality of analysis to identify suspicious cashier activity
