Locum Senior/Advanced MSK Physiotherapist (On site / Hybrid )

About the role

GPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS. Led by NHS GP, Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Anshu Bhagat, with services delivered by a multidisciplinary team, we harness the benefits of technology to deliver better local access to healthcare. Our services include GP consultations, physiotherapy, mental health, audiology, health checks, blood tests, vaccinations and more. Consultations take place online, at home, or in a clinic with a GPDQ-vetted, GMC-registered NHS GP or highly skilled multidisciplinary team member. We are recruiting a Senior / Advanced MSK Physiotherapist with joint and soft tissue injection capability to deliver face-to-face injection and MSK clinics. The clinician will also deliver remote MSK prescribing clinics to top up hours where required. The clinician must be able to manage MSK patients autonomously end-to-end and run injection clinics independently.

Responsibilities

• Advanced MSK assessment and management
• Independent prescribing for MSK conditions
• Request and interpret imaging and blood tests
• Use radiology requesting systems (ICE or similar)
• Deliver F2F MSK and injection clinics
• Run joint and soft tissue injection clinics independently
• Flex appointment length based on clinical need
• Manage escalated F2F MSK cases when not running injection clinics
• Deliver remote MSK clinics when scheduled

Requirements

• Advanced MSK assessment and management experience
• Independent Prescriber qualification
• Level 7 Advanced Practice / PGDip preferred
• Imaging and blood test requesting experience
• ICE or similar radiology system experience
• Joint injection experience
• Soft tissue injection experience
• Experience running injection clinics
• Virtual consultation experience
• NHS email and smartcard number required

Locum Senior/Advanced MSK Physiotherapist Location: Euston/Canary Wharf (Hybrid Opportunity available) Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm 16 hours on site, opportunity to work full time hours with the rest of the hours being remote Contract Length: Locum basis, ongoing requirement Hourly rate: Competititve Start date: 1st March Reporting to: Operations Team
