Inspector Civil (Structural) - (EOI)

About the role

SJ Group is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals for future opportunities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inspector Civil (Structural) to support construction supervision activities and ensure that structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of structural construction works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards
• Monitor construction activities related to concrete, steel, and other structural elements
• Ensure contractor compliance with approved method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC requirements
• Review material submittals, inspection requests, and relevant technical documentation
• Identify non-conformances and monitor the implementation of corrective actions
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders on structural inspection matters
• Verify testing and inspection activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and site documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction inspection and supervision of structural works
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and associated structural elements
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and international construction standards
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
• GCC/KSA experience preferred
