About the role

As a Cook at camp, you help prepare meals , keep the kitchen organized, and support the flow of each day. You follow menu plans, prep ingredients, cook food, and help serve campers and staff . You stay active, work with a friendly team, and help keep camp running well for everyone. Responsibilities

• Prep and cook meals based on the menu.
• Help with chopping, mixing, portioning, and cooking tasks.
• Keep cooking areas clean and follow food safety rules .
• Set up meal service and help clean up afterward.
• Restock food and supplies when needed.
• Watch inventory and let supervisors know when items run low.
• Wash dishes and help with cleaning as needed.
• Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed.
• Your work helps make sure meals are ready on time and that the kitchen runs well each day.
• Who We Are Looking For
• Someone who shows up on time and works hard .
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen with early mornings and meal-time rushes.
• 18 or older and able to lift, stand, bend, and move throughout the day.
• Has some cooking or food prep experience .
• Communicates clearly and checks in when unsure.
• Stays steady and positive when things get busy.
• We treat staff like adults. We expect people to show up fully, work hard, communicate clearly, and support one another.
