Project : Cat Rental is a digital platform focused on equipment rental that is currently undergoing a large-scale redesign to modernize the existing service and unify the user experience across regions and dealers. The project aims to streamline and digitize the entire rental lifecycl e, f r om search and booking to rental management. Designers work in close collaboration with global product and engineering teams, contributing to the creation of a consistent, scalable, and user-centric experience. What will you do? As an UX/UI Designer , you must h ave a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences and intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance our digital products, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand identity as well as: Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project goals, target audiences, and user requirements. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Design intuitive and user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and enhance usability. Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms. This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Caterpillar in the US. What you have : Proven experience as an UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design or skills and thought process. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual design mockups. Experience with responsive design and design for various devices and screen sizes. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and typography. Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations. Web Software Design: Knowledge of web software design; ability to design, develop, maintain and enhance web-based or web-enabled software. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar. Human-Centered Design (HCD): Knowledge of Human-Centered Design model, principle, and concepts; ability to understand the perspective of people who experience a problem, their needs, and provide them with a solution which truly meets their needs effectively. Web Trends & Directions: Knowledge of web trends; ability to utilize a variety ofweb information and technical tools to apply web developing trends within the organizational infrastructure.
