About the role

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the principal liaison concerning DSCA financial policy guidance and direction for the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU). You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: Reviewing the development and coordination of financial policy and procedures relating to security cooperation and/or security assistance Providing advice and guidance on policies, plans, concepts and principles of financial management Analyzing financial policy and providing new and updated solutions Developing legislative proposals for security cooperation matters Ensuring financial policies are operationally executable across the broader Security Cooperation (SC) community or multi-agency environments Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
