We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support our equity products and third-party offerings across the full sales lifecycle. This role is responsible for coordinating sourcing, origination and trading activities within Marketing, while ensuring efficient execution of shipment-related processes in line with contractual and commercial requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying value opportunities, maintaining operational excellence, and acting as a critical control point to mitigate risk across the end-to-end supply chain. This position is particularly well-suited to candidates with experience in base metals or related commodity markets. Core Responsibilities (amongst others): Provide input into purchase and sales contracting processes, with a focus on operational terms, payment terms, and trade finance requirements. Identify and evaluate potential operational risks arising from discrepancies between purchase and sales contract terms and propose mitigation solutions prior to execution. Execute shipping plans in line with vessel schedules, customer requirements, and agreed delivery timelines. Act as a key coordination point between Sales and in-country operational logistics teams, ensuring alignment and effective monitoring. Issue clear instructions to logistics service providers and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. Manage end-to-end shipment activities, including vessel nomination, container bookings, port and laycan declarations, shipping instructions, insurance, and coordination of load/discharge port surveyors and operations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehousing operators, and internal shipping teams to secure container and vessel capacity in line with contractual terms. Review and/or process Letters of Credit (LCs) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational feasibility for shipments. Obtain LC confirmation and discounting quotes from banks and support the discounting process by preparing and submitting required documentation. Ensure all shipping documentation and invoices generated are in order as required, e.g. bill of lading and quality certifications. Liaise with Finance to ensure timely receipt of payments and accurate booking of final invoices. Good understanding on Letter of Credit, UCP 600, ISBP and Incoterms 2020. Minimum 3 years of experience in international commodity operations or logistics. Degree-qualified, preferably in Commercial, Engineering, or Business disciplines (desirable). Experience in managing shipments within a trading environment Knowledge of sales operations and trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, warehousing, logistics, and dry bulk/container shipment management (desirable). High level of commercial acumen, with strong numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English. #LI-AB2
