About the role

As Content Strategist, you'll be the connective tissue between business priorities and content delivery - translating campaign goals and key moments into compelling narratives and channel strategies. You'll plan, write, edit, and optimize across multiple formats and platforms, partnering closely with creative, social, web, and operations teams. This is a role for someone equally comfortable shaping a messaging framework and developing and polishing a final piece of copy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic, insight-driven content plans across digital channels - social media, executive social, blog and web - with a strong understanding of audience engagement, brand voice, and platform best practices
  • Align content strategies with campaign goals, key moments, and amplification opportunities across organic and paid digital channels
  • Write compelling, concise copy for social posts, executive thought leadership, landing pages, headlines, and short-form web experiences
  • Partner with creative, social, web, and operations teams to translate business priorities into impactful content narratives and channel strategies
  • Recommend content amplification tactics, optimization approaches, and engagement strategies to extend reach and performance
  • Edit and refine long-form and short-form content - including articles, blogs, and campaign assets - ensuring grammar, clarity, consistency, tone, and accuracy
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, moving between content planning and messaging frameworks through to polished final copy
  • Stay current on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging storytelling formats to continuously evolve content approaches and drive engagement
  • Use analytics and performance data to inform content decisions and report on effectiveness
  • Contribute to content governance, ensuring brand voice and editorial standards are maintained across all output
  • What you need to be great in this role:
  • Proven experience developing content strategies across social media and digital channels
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills across short-form and long-form formats - social, web, editorial, and campaign assets
  • Solid understanding of audience engagement, platform best practices, and organic and paid content amplification
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, social, web, and operations teams
  • Familiarity with measurement frameworks to analyze content performance
  • Nice to have: CMS (WordPress), SEO experience
  • Experience with Gen AI tools relevant to content strategy and copywriting to enhance output quality and efficiency
  • Experience building personal AI workflows to improve efficiency - for example, content ideation, copy drafting, or performance reporting
  • Agentic approach to content planning: ability to break down a brief, identify the optimal content path, and execute across multiple workstreams
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply human judgement to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand alignment
