Machine Engineer (Rationalization) (Yishun)

Job Description: Department: Machine Engineering & Facility Reports to: Manager Functional Relationships with: Production , Maintenance ,Quality & Engineering Team Position Profile: Based in: Singapore Job Site: Yishun The successful candidate will work as part of Machine Engineering to explore, evaluate &carry out machinery rationalization activities to improve manufacturing performance. Key Duties& Responsibilities: - Responsible for improving Production processes through Automation Machines & Operation Technology. - Prepare machine/technology roadmap to fulfill Manufacturing Division's goal. - Proposal based on Rationalization fundamentals& Design of equipment with Mechanical /Electrical control systems. - Enhance Project Management with Scheduling, Budget Control, Coordination with Vendor& Reporting. - Preferably a trained engineer and is able to address technical queries that arise during the course of his duties. - Ensure activity compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and maintain process ISO system. Ability/Competency Required: - Degree in Manufacturing Engineering /Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. - At least 2 years related working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active. - Positive attitude in challenging work environment. - A self starter who enjoys interacting with others. - Ability to work well in a team. - Problem solver. - Ability to perform multi-tasking.
