Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Regional Medical Director to join our growing Primary Care Service Line. The Director works collaboratively in a Dyad relationship with the practice managers, service line director and supervisors to provide physician leadership for the clinical and support staff of the assigned offices under the Primary Care Service Line. This position helps facilitate delivery of safe, accessible, high-quality patient centered medical care by ensuring implementation of sound practices and procedures to provide optimal patient and staff experience. Provider will spend 80% of time performing clinical responsibilities and 20% of time performing administrative responsibilities. Primary Clinical Duties and Responsibilities Provides direct medical care to primary care patients in an office-based setting. Always demonstrates and models service excellence behavior. Responds with concern, cooperation, and respect. Establishes cooperative working relationships with all individuals with whom contact is made. Maintains patient confidentiality. Utilizes appropriate and effective patient care plans. Completes documentation concurrently as patients are seen. Primary Administrative Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the oversight of operational functions at the applicable office/s in collaboration with the Service Line leadership. Demonstrates an understanding that the goal is to best serve the patient and assure delivery of high-quality care and services. Makes recommendations to service line leadership for changes to medical protocols. Leads the development and implementation of PDSA's and/or workflows for quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the quality team and service line leadership. Leads regularly scheduled or ad hoc provider and/or staff meetings in collaboration with practice manager/ supervisor to address the below mentioned duties and escalates to the service line chair as appropriate Compensation & Benefits Salary range of $280,000 - $300,000 Competitive compensation models include generous wRVU productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow, uncapped Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans Paid holidays and PTO CME allowance and dedicated CME time Ma lpractice coverage Relocation allowance Non-Profit Health System; eligibility for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness
