JOB TITLE: QA/QC- Mechanical SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Mechanical systems within a cleanroom environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform initial, follow up, and final system walk downs Work closely with contractors, and subcontractors to make sure industry and customer specific procedures are met Understand and enforce regulations, codes, and industry standards for inspection of plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF. Work with key stakeholders to plan and organize activities concerned with construction projects; discuss such matters as work procedures and quality issues Record and organize all necessary documentation to record the implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of the QA program Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities Represent company in pre-construction, design, and project meetings and attend operations meetings Perform final QA inspection on installations Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution Review with system owner and provide technical verification of hardware and configuration of installations per design documents Ensure equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectations COMPETENCIES: Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
