About the role

You will serve as an EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DISPATCH SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER, NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience displaying advanced knowledge of the command's role in Installations Emergency Management (IEM) and Navy/DOD programs and activities, missions, policies, and objectives. *Experience demonstrating the ability to analyze information and make operational recommendations under rapidly changing conditions. *Experience articulating issues and resolutions both verbally and in writing to Navy and civilian leadership. *Experience applying advanced knowledge of communications equipment, computer systems, and evolving technologies and their applicability to the shore enterprise. *Experience applying advanced knowledge of emergency preparedness and response procedures to include dispatch and all hazards response, organizational and time management skills, and understanding of Navy training techniques and delivery options.
