General Characteristics (Job Summary) Perform quality activities in accordance with quality management system established. Establish inspection and test plans and its record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards. Carry out inspections on discipline responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result. Roles and Responsibilities Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix. Check and verify material/equipment received in good condition. Check and the material received is complying to the material request by verifying from related documents. Managing and performing inspection of Piping discipline. Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points. Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR). Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded. Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix. Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP and managing Matrix). Control NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. Performing and coordinating for inspection with the client. Carry out QC Supervisor's responsibility in their absence. Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team. Review and track material submittals required for Piping Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Piping Definable Features of Work. Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted. Review pre-fabricated spool release, welding history and perform inspections. Review and Approval of Test Packages, line walk, punch preparation and Hydro test inspection. Monitor RT backlog as per project requirements. Key Requirement Aramco Experience is needed. If you have SAP No. and pass the CBT, please mention it in your CV. Education and Experience Inspector shall be a High School graduate, or higher; shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications; and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision. Inspector is required to review or ensure of the pressure test Package and shall be familiar with the PandID.4 The candidate shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in Material Receiving Inspection techniques. Job Specific for Welding Inspector shall be certified as an American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or COMPANY approved equivalent. Inspector shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the WORK. The candidate shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in Material Receiving Inspection techniques. Knowledge Knowledge and experience of material receiving and inspection as per company and client standards and procedures. Check and verify material/equipment received in good condition. Check and the material received is complying to the material request by verifying from related documents. Raise RFI for joint inspection with the client. Raise NCR for non-compliance if any. Technical knowledge and familiar with related international codes and standards in particular discipline. Able to check that suitable and appropriate inspection and test tools are used. Investigate and analyze nonconformities and observations and figuring out solutions. Capability of planning and controlling inspections for medium scale project (0.5~1.5 billion dollar).
