General Characteristics (Job Summary) Perform quality activities in accordance with quality management system established. Establish inspection and test plans and its record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards. Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP and managing Matrix). Control NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. Performing and coordinating for inspection with the client. Carry out QC Supervisor's responsibility in their absence. Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team. Review and track material submittals required for Piping Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Piping Definable Features of Work. Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted. Review pre-fabricated spool release, welding history and perform inspections. Review and Approval of Test Packages, line walk, punch preparation and Hydro test inspection. Inspector is required to review or ensure of the pressure test Package and shall be familiar with the PandID.4 The candidate shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in Material Receiving Inspection techniques. Job Specific for Welding Inspector shall be certified as an American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or COMPANY approved equivalent. Inspector shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the WORK. The candidate shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in Material Receiving Inspection techniques.
