MSS Security is seeking an experienced Security Contract Manager to oversee security operations across Monash University's campuses at Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula, Parkville and 750 Collins Street. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large team of Security Officers, ensuring the effective delivery of security services, maintaining compliance and building strong relationships with our client. This is a Full Time position working predominantly Monday to Friday, however, there will be a requirement to be available after hours to manage urgent operational matters. A company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone are provided. Duties include but are not limited to: Leadership and Management : Leading and managing a large team of Security Officers. This includes managing recruitment, inductions, training and rostering. Incident management: Ensuring all incidents are reported through the correct channels and incident investigations are conducted in line with company procedures. Security Operations: Manage security operations and ensure all duties and audits are being conducted correctly. This includes reporting and investigation of breaches, communicating change of policy and proposed risk mitigation strategies. Training and Compliance : Ensure staff are trained, licenced and records are maintained. This includes conducting regular training assessments and arranging specialist training as needed. Health, Safety and Environment : Monitor compliance with HSE and HR policies, oversee safety procedures and maintain supply inventory. Reporting and Stakeholder Management: Attend and lead stakeholder meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc), prepare and present operational reports and coordinate meeting agendas and minutes.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in security contract management.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing incidents, compliance requirements and large teams.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Valid Victorian Security licence.
  • Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
  • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
