Platform Engineer/DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implementation and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment, ensuring efficient automation and integration practices;
• Development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for business applications;
• Development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for platforms (IaaC);
• Good technical knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL);
• Good knowledge of AWS and Azure;
• Management and maintenance of the operational integrity of production and development systems, with a focus on automation and stability;
• Development of Bash/Python scripts and other automation tools to improve processes and optimise operational efficiency;
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations and project managers, to ensure platform stability and project success;
• Using Jira and Confluence to record the status of your deliverables and the associated technical documentation.
• A minimum of 5 years' proven experience;
• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
• Experience in managing AWS and Azure resources;
• Expertise in containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes;
• Significant experience with DevOps practices and tools;
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Actions;
• Experience in systems administration (preferably in Linux environments);
• Advanced proficiency in Bash scripting for process automation and optimisation;
• Certifications in relevant areas will be considered an asset (GitHub, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes);
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, Observability, GitOps and Cloud Administration. The ideal candidate will be organised, have a Dev(sec)Ops mindset and be comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
