Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. Five years' progressively responsible experience in alumni relations, donor relations/stewardship, advancement, events, or related constituent and volunteer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Alumni & Donor Engagement and Stewardship
- Lead alumni and donor engagement strategies that increase connection, participation, and recognition (e.g., class/program touchpoints, reunions, student mentorship links).
- Build and execute individualized stewardship plans (acknowledgments, impact updates, annual thank-you cycles, recognition societies).
- Manage the Outstanding Alumni Awards process (promotion, selection logistics, recognition experience).
- Support student-to-alumni transition programming in partnership with student affairs/career services.
- Coordinate alumni/donor volunteer roles (advisory councils, events, class agents), including recruitment, onboarding, and appreciation.
- Liaise with College departments and campus affiliates to coordinate programs of interest to students, alumni, and the broader community.
- Advancement Events & Stakeholder Relations
- Plan and deliver College-level advancement events (VIP visits, scholarship/award celebrations, donor receptions, reunions, tailgates/signature gatherings) with end-to-end logistics and budget accountability.
- Develop customized campus tours and experiences for VIPs (major donors, public officials, partners).
- Oversee community and philanthropic sponsorship requests and benefits fulfillment; maintain a master calendar to prevent conflicts and maximize visibility.
- Recognition & Naming Support: Coordinate recognition and naming deliverables (e.g., plaques, signage, space/building markers, digital recognition, web features).
- Manage timelines, vendor coordination, proofreading/approvals, installation logistics, and inventory of recognition assets in alignment with Texas A&M standards and College brand guidelines.
- Communications & Content Creation
- Partner with marketing & communications to plan and produce alumni/donor content (invitations, event pages, stewardship letters, impact reports, newsletters) and ensure consistent voice and brand standards.

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience working with a higher-education foundation and alumni groups.
- Familiarity with stewardship processes and impact reporting.
- Strong written communication skills for stewardship and executive correspondence.
- Experience with event planning and activation.
- Experience supervising student employees and volunteers
- Proficiency with advancement/CRM systems
- A Class "C" vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
