Senior IT Engagement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large and complex IT and technology projects and programmes end-to-end across the full project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery outcomes to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and maintain integrated project and programme plans, schedules, and delivery rhythms.
• Identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Coordinate multi-discipline and multi-supplier teams to achieve high performance in matrix environments.
• Engage and manage senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making.
• Oversee financial performance including forecasting, budget tracking, and change control.
• Apply commercial acumen across contract types including Time & Materials and fixed price models.
• Drive agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
• Produce clear and accurate reporting to support governance and executive communication.
• Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing delivery environment.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale IT and technology projects or programmes in complex environments.
• Strong background managing end-to-end project and programme delivery lifecycles.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and matrix, multi-supplier structures.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Strong leadership capability with experience guiding cross-functional delivery teams.
• Solid financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies with effective mitigation strategies.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage complex delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
• Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, including continuous UK residency for the last 5 years.
