Accounts Receivables Officer (Central)

About the role

📍 Location: Somerset 🕒 Work Hours: 5 days work week (9am-6pm) 💰 Salary: Up to $4,500 Our client is a globally recognised luxury hotel brand operating an upscale lifestyle property in Singapore's central business district. Job Scope: Post and manage all receivables transactions, including credit card payments, guest accounts, and city ledger postings, ensuring accuracy and timely recording of financial data. Perform daily credit card reconciliations, manage settlements, handle chargebacks, and ensure proper alignment with bank collections and supporting documentation. Maintain and monitor city ledger accounts, including outstanding balances, discrepancies, and follow-ups, while supporting the Credit team in managing overdue accounts. Ensure accurate financial documentation, system updates, and compliance with hotel policies and internal controls while collaborating closely with Finance, Credit, banks, and internal departments. Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar finance function. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage financial transactions and records efficiently and professionally. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experienced in using accounting or financial management systems; hospitality finance system knowledge is an advantage. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
