About the role
Reporting to the Vice President Marketing and Communications, the Director of System Marketing and Advertising will lead integrated marketing , advertising , and communications strategy and execution enterprise-wide including Centers of Excellence , key clinical programs and service lines , physician-facing marketing, events supporting clinical programs, and retail services. Th is position will oversee the development and execution of a proactive multi-channel marketing and communications strategy informed by customer insights, data analysis, business intelligence, and organizational priorities to strengthen Elliot Health System's brand positioning and status while driving growth .
Responsibilities
- P roactively provi des subject matter expertise to properly advise and manage client expectations and direct the day-to-day priorities and operations of the department's marketing and advertising team.
- Serves as a strategic partner to department teams, physicians, clinical and operational leaders, and senior leadership to ensure integrated marketing, advertising, and communications initiatives align with organizational and growth priorities.
- E nhance s internal and external clinical program engagement; develops related content positioning and actively participates in the planning and execution of various client and team member meetings.
- Evaluates and helps manage marketing-supported vendor relationships, including oversight of request for proposal processes and negotiation and management of vendor contracts in collaboration with Marketing and Communications senior leadership.
- Regularly scans in ternal and external environment s for marketing and communications improvement opportunities; proactively identifies issues and opportunities impacting the system's reputation and brand .
- Guides team members with the planning of special events , open houses, and other related activities, in coordination with other members of the systems' Marketing and Communications and Public Relations team.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Business Required. Masters Degree Preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant, progressive leadership experience in an integrated marketing and communications or business capacity. Experience in an healthcare organization required.
