Job Description Summary Unit Description University Medical Center Urgent Care Center provides urgent care services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Urgent Care Center provides urgent care services to patients of all ages. Under supervision of a registered nurse, the CNA will assist with preparing patients for examination, performing EKG testing, point of care testing and assisting with in office procedures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a contributing member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. -CNAs are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a nurse. The duties generally include observing patients, recording vital signs, performing EKGs, and reporting changes in patient conditions.
