Your day-to-day responsibilities Design, develop, and validate Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for satellite testing Design mechanical interfaces for vibration, shock, and environmental testing Develop and optimize test jigs and fixtures for mechanical testing Create and maintain manufacturing drawings and technical documentation Plan, coordinate, execute and document vibration test campaigns for subsystems and full satellites Perform and support finite element analysis to validate designs and test setups Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test readiness and successful execution Deliver end-to-end mechanical testing campaigns aligned with project requirement

Requirements

  • MSc degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MGSE design and mechanical testing environments
  • Experience with vibration testing and mechanical validation of hardware
  • Experience leading technical work or R&D projects
  • Proficiency with CAD and PDM tools such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault or similar
  • Experience with finite element analysis tools such as ANSYS, Nastran, or Hypermesh
  • Ability to create and interpret manufacturing drawings
  • Hands-on engineering mindset with ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Experience in aerospace or satellite hardware development
  • Manufacturing knowledge of machined components
  • Hands-on experience in satellite assembly
