Position Summary The Loan Support position provides assigned lender(s) with partnership-style support and assistance in all lending, business development, and other assigned or appropriate initiatives and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Interview applicants and complete loan applications for consideration by approving authorities. Assist assigned lender(s) in developing relationships, selling products, delivering superior customer service, managing assigned portfolios, minimizing risks, and pursuing all performance goals and objectives. Analyze financial data to forecast borrower success and loan profitability. Know and apply the bank's underwriting guidelines consistently and in compliance with applicable banking laws, rules, regulations, and policies. Accept and process loan requests promptly, using approved technology to optimum advantage and complying with applicable banking laws, rules, regulations, and policies. Arrange and facilitate the timely and accurate closing of new loans and servicing existing loans. Know the bank's loan, deposit, and other product and service offerings and effectively explain them to prospects. Other duties as assigned. Two to four years in a lending and/or business development environment or equivalent is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, service, and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to handle confidential data professionally and ethically. Ability to work on multiple tasks at once. Dependable and a self-starter. Proficient level of computer competency. Ability to quickly learn and assimilate information.
