About this role Company: BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. Job Title: Associate Location: 400 Bellevue Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19809 Job Duties: Interpret and analyze the investment guidelines of our clients and code them into BlackRock's compliance system. Interpret the client's investment guidelines from the completed Investment Management Agreement (IMA) and implement the required controls through coding of compliance rules in BlackRock's Aladdin platform. Support the process through which a client may change their investment guideline provisions over time, based on their preferences or market conditions. Craft new system rules, improve existing compliance coding and investigate or troubleshoot potential errors when needed. Coordinate the implementation of manual tests. Participate in efficiency and improvement initiatives by providing ideas and suggestions on possible improvements to systems or processes. Lead or run strategic projects and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and three (3) years of experience as an Associate, Analyst or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Investment product expertise across a wide-range of sectors and industries; Business analytics and data visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau; Relational database concepts using SQL; Coding experience with compliance monitoring tools; Analyzing and interpreting Investment Guideline documents for proper coding application and system input; Compliance Coding Application; Compliance Report Column Editor; and Scenario testing including creating compliance test cases, running simulations and implementing controls into productions.
