Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading maintenance staff , including hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning tasks to ensure timely completion of work
• Planning and scheduling maintenance activities , including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Inspecting facilities and equipment to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate repairs or upgrades.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes , maintaining a safe work environment.
• Managing budgets and resources , including ordering and tracking maintenance supplies, equipment, and contractor services.
• Coordinating with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement. Vocational training, an associate's degree, or a bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
