Software Developer (Rust)

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, multithreaded trade processing systems using Rust
• Maintain and enhance services built in C#
• Develop scalable microservices and APIs (REST / gRPC)
• Optimize system performance, latency, and memory usage to reduce AWS costs
• Work on distributed systems and high-volume data processing pipelines
• Integrate messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS)
• Own end-to-end delivery, including design, development, testing, and production support
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across multiple regions
• Participate in incident resolution and second-line production support
• Follow DevOps practices for CI/CD and deployment workflows
• Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years software engineering experience in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise in Rust (async, concurrency, memory management)
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems
• Good understanding of messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS / SNS)
• Strong experience in AWS, including serverless (Lambda preferred)
• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
