Responsibilities

  • KPI Performance Management
  • Develop and maintain standardized KPIs aligned with operational goals
  • Build and manage dashboards to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance

  • Translate data into actionable insights to improve performance
  • Support forecasting and capacity analysis through data modeling
  • Identify root causes of inefficiencies using data-driven methods
  • Continuous Improvement Execution
  • Participate in and facilitate Lean / continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions (e.g., root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Kaizen events)
  • Track improvement actions and verify completion
  • Standardize processes and implement best practices
  • Contribute to waste reduction, cost optimization, and process efficiency
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, production control, and IT teams
  • Align KPI definitions and reporting standards across departments
  • Support change management initiatives tied to process improvements
  • Communicate performance insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Governance & Standardization Support
  • Maintain documentation for KPIs , processes, and improvement actions
  • Support established KPI governance and reporting cadences
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures
  • Provide data and documentation for audits and performance reviews
  • Lean & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and reduce waste
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective action development
  • Validate improvement results and ensure sustainability
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
  • Performance Management & Visual Systems
  • Support PDCA cycles within improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly performance routines
  • Maintain visual management tools and Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity ( SQDIP ) ‑ aligned dashboards
  • Help ensure clear metric ownership and escalation paths
  • Location & Travel Expectations :
  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field with hands ‑ on work in KPI development, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degre
