Civil & Structure engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise C&S engineering activities ensuring safe, high‑quality deliverables.
• Prepare, review, and approve foundation designs, structural analyses, and construction drawings.
• Resolve engineering issues, deviations, and cross‑discipline interface challenges.
• Conduct 3D model reviews to ensure constructability, operability, and maintainability.
• Support vendor design reviews, technical clarifications, and bid evaluations.
• Provide engineering support during construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning.
• Ensure alignment with global engineering standards, procedures, and work processes.
• Support lessons learned, standardization, and engineering excellence initiatives.

Reimagine What's Possible Purpose The Civil & Structural Senior Engineer delivers high‑quality engineering and design execution for global Air Separation Unit (ASU) projects. The role engineers and supervises designers to ensure safe‑by‑design, cost‑effective, and compliant C&S deliverables while supporting predictable project execution. Also preparing HVAC bids package and supervise HVAC design by LDI (Local Design Institute) are part of the role. Nature & Scope Supervise LDI (Local Design Institute) designers delivering C&S scope and HVAC scope for ASU projects. Provide expertise in RCC and steel structure design, dynamic equipment foundations, pipe racks, and industrial civil works. Ensure compliance with Air Products engineering standards, local and global codes, and project specifications. Coordinate design interfaces with mechanical, piping, electrical, PACO, process, and layout disciplines. Support all execution phases including basic engineering, detailed design, construction, and commissioning. Participate in multi‑discipline design reviews, constructability assessments, and issue resolution. Contribute to standardization, digital engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
