Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a QA Engineer and at least 2+ years of experience in developing automation for mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java programming languages, with hands-on experience in UI testing frameworks such as Espresso, UiAutomator, Compose UI Test
  • Proficiency in Swift programming language, with hands-on experience in UI testing frameworks: XCUITest and XCTest
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
  • Strong technical skills and being pro at identifying issues and solving complex problems
  • Good understanding of the software development life-cycle process
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Proactiveness and high motivation

As a QA Automation Engineer on the Inbox team, you will play a crucial role in testing Proton's most vital services, including Mail and Calendar. We expect you to be customer-centric, continuously learning, passionate about technology and usability. You are adept at turning technical complexities into seamless user experiences. Effective teamwork, collaboration with Product, Design, APIs, and your team, and data-driven decision-making are essential aspects of this role.
