The Department of Chemical Engineering (CHEG) is seeking a full-time Research Assistant for the Aitbekova research lab. This role will support data analysis, application development, and research objectives. Work could include, for example, software development, investigation and summary of existing research reports/papers, presentations, and report/paper writing. This is a fixed-term position of up to three months, including a competitive salary and full-time benefits. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files. May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions. Performs basic data analysis in order to product reports. Documents results and processes. Performs library research and field explorations. Performs related duties as assigned.
