The Facilities and Maintenance Manager for Voyager Technologies is responsible for maintenance, reliability, and safe operation of all production and support infrastructure across the energetics and rocket manufacturing facilities . The position reports to the Site Manager and is part of the Operations Department based in Penrose, CO. This role is onsite based in Penrose, CO and Pueblo, CO. In this role, the essential functions are: Establish maintenance performance metrics (downtime, MTBF, maintenance backlog) and implement continuous improvement targets. Manage maintenance documentation, records, and work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Lead and schedule maintenance technicians performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation tasks. Develop and manage a preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure that facility equipment, utilities, and machinery remain in optimal condition. Maintain facility utilities including compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum, HVAC, and electrical distribution. Enforce compliance with explosive safety, electrical, and pressure system standards (NFPA, OSHA 1910, DoD, and ASME codes). Maintain records of inspections, calibrations, and PMs in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and site quality management systems. In this role, the preferred functions are: Knowledge in control system integration and process automation. Maintain facility utilities including compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum, HVAC, and electrical distribution. Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 (five) or more years of experience managing facilities at a large manufacturing facility or 9 (nine) or more years of experience in maintenance management in lieu of a degree. Specific knowledge of compliance with explosive safety, electrical, and pressure system standards including NFPA, OSHA 1910, DoD, and ASME codes. Travel, Physical and/or Government Mandated Requirements: Travel up to 10%, including the possibility of overnights within (describe area or range) Ability to lift, move or carry items or equipment up to 50 pounds Eligible to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses, including be 21 years of age or older, pass pre-employment drug test, pass State and Federal background checks. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Parts 120-130) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730-774), applicants for this position must be a U.S. Person: a US Citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3). Applicants must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The good faith base salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
