Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions of the Company.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and budgeting exercises.
- Monitor project costing, revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), and profitability analysis for construction projects.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, and treasury functions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, corporate secretaries, and government agencies.
- Oversee GST submissions, corporate tax matters, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures.
- Monitor project cash flow and funding requirements to support operational needs.
- Support tender submissions by reviewing financial requirements, bonds, guarantees, and project-related financial risks.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and decision-making.
- Support other ad-hoc finance or administrative duties when required
Requirements
- Able to work 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
- Prior work experience in the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industry is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of project accounting, construction costing, and revenue recognition principles.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
