The Recreation Center Supervisor II coordinates recreation activities and staff at a large recreation center complex offering multiple recreational programs, sports, events and classes. Manages, develops, plans, schedules, supervises, directs and coordinates all activities at a large recreation center complex; Coordinates center activities with local groups, county departments and non-profit organizations; Supervises, schedules, trains and evaluates recreation staff, volunteers and youth interns; Handles public inquiries, provides information to the public, resolves customer and participant issues and implements corrective actions and procedures; Utilizes computer skills for purchasing and work orders systems, registration systems, monitoring budgets, creating reports, promotional materials, maintaining records and communication; Manages the acquisition, storage, inventory and distribution of supplies and equipment to support recreation programs and activities and maintains Pima County property, equipment, electronics and various items in a recreation facility; Assists with purchasing supplies, submitting work orders, monitoring budgets; Communicates effectively in a timely manner, both orally and in writing; May be required to obtain and maintain a National Fitness Certification; Monitors daily financial matters such as change funds, revenue collection, bank deposits, payroll, and cash handling procedures.
